Level 2 charging: Use without adapter OR use with one of NEMA 10-30/NEMA 14-50/ NEMA14-30/ NEMA6-50 adapters. When ground fault is detected, the red indicator light will flash (5 times). BUT it’s just a reminder. The EV charger will operate normally without the ground wire because it is not a part of the conducting path which supplies electricity to the appliance.
